CloudOpting is based on a complementary and well balanced consortium, specifically selected to fulfil the needs of the project in terms of competences and ambition, and perfectly aligned with the scope of the target objective of the PSP programme. The consortium is city‐oriented and centred on user services, while at the same time including the necessary expertise associated with the integration and deployment of city services over a cloud infrastructure. Overall the consortium joins the following types of organizations:
Cloud technology providers and integrators (i.e. TeamNet, Wellness Telecom and CSI-Piemonte), which will contribute, adapt and integrate the background platforms that comprise the cloud based CloudOpting platform.
Mobile technology provider for city services solutions (Worldline), with a long experience in providing cloud-based city service on mobile devices.
City services consultants (i.e. SDG and Smart Partnership), which will support the cities in the deployment of the CloudOpting pilot services.
The consortium composition foresees that each city will be supported by one technological and business consultant partner in the integration and deployment activities. However, as part of the sustainability planning of the project, all partners will endeavour to diffuse and replicate their developments in other cities (within and outside the consortium).
Cities and regions (namely 3 cities and 1 regions), which will offer their infrastructures in order to enable the deployment of cloud-based services at their territories. They have been carefully selected to ensure a wide representation of European regions with different characteristics and needs in terms of public services, but all of them with cloud infrastructures in place at different levels of deployment.
